Model MP-100 High Resolution Micropositioner is precision-built for micropositioning to
ever smaller Industry Standards. Featuring linear motion on all three axes, the MP-100
provides today's most precise level of control for sub-micron probing.

Ball-bearing slides, allowing backlash-free, half-inch,
tri-directional linear motion.

MP-100 resolution is 100 TPI, or

Holder The probe holder swings toward the operator, allowing
easy probe replacement without moving the unit's base. |

Y, and Z motion are linear. The probe always moves in a straight line, never in an arc. |

| Construction: Probeholder is made from gold plated brass tubing with an OD of
0.134"± .002. The cable is
inserted through tube to probe mounting jack where the guard is terminated .300" from
end. The signal pin is shielded to within .050" of end. Only the exposed disposable
probe is unshielded to minimize noise. Test results range from 20 ¦A to 1 pA depending on test setup and probe
station configuration. |
